We’ve all been there, we’ve all been on Instagram, catching up on the feed, and seen the frustrating “Click the Link in Bio for More.” It’s a frustrating, but innate aspect of Instagram’s platform that hasn’t changed since they allowed links. Mastering the art of a good Link in Bio is something that can take some effort, especially since there is no one solution.
What is a Link in Bio?
For those who aren’t as familiar with Instagram, the platform does not allow for clickable links in posts. They do have links in Story swipe-ups, which are available to accounts with over 10,000 followers, and one link on an accounts profile page, commonly referred to as the “link in bio.”
Previously, you’d have to post one link and if you had something to add to it, you had to replace the original.
Since then there have been quite a few tools and strategies allowing for multiple links in your bio. Different tools are built for different industries and different strategies have worked for clients in new ways. The tools and strategies I use for my clients and my own account include:

On the free plan, the only provided analytics is the number of clicks on the link.
On the paid plan, you are provided with views, clicks, and click through rate. They also have a graph with the breakdown of your total views and clicks vs the uniques and click through rate over 7 or 28 days.

A custom landing page is the best link in bio option. These custom pages are built out of one’s own website usually at their URL /Link or /Links. These pages can be as extravagant or as simple as you would like for them to be.
Cost
Technically these are free, but these landing pages are a part of the cost of maintaining your organization’s website.
Analytics
With these pages on your website, you can rely on Google Analytics data to see how people are coming onto your link in bio page and where they’re going from there.
Who is it Good For?
This is the best option for anyone! Directing people to your site first is the most important step to converting viewers. But creating these pages can be difficult if you’re not well-versed in your website management software.
